Over the weekend, Troop 59 of Ruidoso, Troop 97 of Hobbs, and Troop 72 of Roswell joined forces at Cedar Creek Campground #3 for a memorable experience of camping and conservation. With a total of 27 individuals, including 13 youth and 6 adults, the troops embarked on a mission to contribute to the preservation of the Lincoln National Forest while fostering bonds of friendship and camaraderie.
The collective effort resulted in an impressive 108 man-hours of service dedicated to various conservation tasks. From removing railroad ties to installing retaining block walls, the Troops demonstrated their commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
