Bobcat, Cyber Chip, and Scoutbook

Updated: Oct 24, 2020

For new Scout parents, getting used to all this Scout stuff can be a little tough. Because of that, we want to start walking you through the ways that we give out awards. Before we go too far with that, we want to make sure that your Cub Scouts have completed Bobcat and Cyber Chip. Very soon you will have access to Scoutbook, our advancement website, and this is our first step. The requirements are below the video.

Bobcat Requirements

1.Learn and say the Scout Oath, with help if needed.

2.Learn and say the Scout Law, with help if needed.

3.Show the Cub Scout sign. Tell what it means.

4.Show the Cub Scout handshake. Tell what it means.

5.Say the Cub Scout motto. Tell what it means.

6.Show the Cub Scout salute. Tell what it means.

7.With your parent or guardian, complete the exercises in the pamphlet How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent's Guide—Bobcat Requirements
