Celebrating Eagle Scout Achievements: Troop 9007 and Troop 149 Spring Court of Honor

It was an evening marked by celebration and gratitude as two remarkable individuals, Stephen McFerraz and William Fitzpatrick, ascended to the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout.

For these Scouts, the journey to Eagle has been one of dedication, perseverance, and unwavering commitment. Over the years, they have invested countless hours, overcoming challenges and embracing opportunities for growth. Tonight, their hard work and determination culminated in a well-deserved recognition of their achievements. Congratulations, Stephen and William, on this incredible milestone. Your accomplishments serve as an inspiration to us all.

But the success of these Eagle Scouts is not theirs alone. Behind every Scout stands a team of dedicated adults, and volunteers who selflessly give their time and expertise to support and guide the next generation of leaders. Tonight, we extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every adult leader who has played a role in shaping the lives of these Scouts. Your commitment and mentorship have made a lasting impact, shaping character and instilling values that will serve them for a lifetime.

“In assisting his ‘neighbor’ every day to the best of his ability, and keeping truth, honesty, and kindness perpetually before him, the Boy Scout, with as little formality as possible, is pleasing God.”

Lord Robert Baden-Powell

Amid this celebration, we also bid farewell to a beloved leader, Maggie Anderson. As the Troop 07 Scoutmaster this past school year, Maggie has exemplified dedication and passion in her role. Despite the imminent arrival of a new chapter in her life, Maggie has graciously stepped down from her position, leaving behind a legacy of leadership and mentorship. Thank you, Maggie, for your unwavering commitment to the Scouts. Your contributions will be fondly remembered and deeply appreciated.

Additionally, we celebrate the achievement of Dr. Ana Arnett, who received her first Mentor Pin tonight. This special recognition is reserved for exceptional mentors who have made a significant impact on the journey of Eagle Scouts. Ana, your dedication and guidance have not gone unnoticed, and your Mentor Pin is a testament to the profound influence you have had on the lives of these Scouts.

As the evening draws to a close, we reflect on the collective achievements and milestones celebrated tonight. It has been a night of recognition, honor, and gratitude—a true testament to the spirit of Scouting. Congratulations once again to Stephen and William, and a heartfelt thank you to all who have contributed to their success. Together, we continue to uphold the values of Scouting, inspiring future generations to reach new heights and make a difference in the world.
