One hundred years ago, Scouting in Southeast New Mexico united to form what we now proudly know as the Conquistador Council. As we approach this centennial milestone, we are excited to celebrate in meaningful ways throughout 2025—and we want you to be part of it! 

Our Centennial Celebration will honor our rich history, connect with our alumni, and showcase stories of Scouting's impact on our community and beyond. Together, we will reflect on the people, places, and programs that have defined our journey, while setting our sights on shaping the next century of Scouting. 

Our Centennial Celebration Committee is now forming, and we have volunteer opportunities of all sizes—from gathering stories to organizing events and everything in between. If you would like to be part of this momentous celebration, please contact our Marketing Director, Denise Trowbridge.
