Dear Conquistador Council Scouting Family,

As I sit down to reflect on this Thanksgiving Day, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the warm welcome my wife and I have received since joining this incredible community in southeastern New Mexico. Our hearts are full, and we are truly thankful for the open arms and kind spirits that have made us feel at home.

On this day of thanks, I want to extend my deepest appreciation to each and every volunteer and staff member who dedicates their time, passion, and expertise to the Conquistador Council. Your commitment to the values of Scouting is evident in the positive impact you make on the lives of our youth every day. It is a privilege to work alongside and to support such dedicated individuals.

The spirit of community and service is alive and well here, and it's what makes the Scouting truly special. Together, we are building a foundation for future leaders, instilling values that will shape the character of generations to come.

As we gather around our tables with family and friends, let's also take a moment to cherish the Scout family we've become a part of. Each of you plays a vital role in creating an environment where young people can learn, grow, and thrive.
